Yesterday James and I took a walk through LOWE's while we waited for his cousin to get off work. We were walking around the home supply areas (kitchen, yard, laundry, driers). There were some cool designs that appeared to be practically effective. James and I discussed the house arrangements where we live now, particularly the kitchen area. The way we have the kitchen area is very ineffective in space and design. When cooking we are looking for available space to place the items we need to use as well as having space for the tools that are to be used for cooking. I passed by this cool island that can go in the middle of the kitchen and looked something like the above picture. I don't know how much it cost, but according to James my "taste" was pricey...lol (he also liked the design) and said that that is something one would see in an expensive house...another words something that we would not be able to afford!
Since when does practicality cost "millions"? Do we have to buy and design garbage to sell it cheaper and be impractical? This is something that exists within the current money system.
As I walked away from the kitchen counter top I "wished" I had the money to just see something and buy it. And to know that the item I buy is practical, efficient, and lasts.
In the current money system that is not possible, because items are deliberately made to NOT last, to NOT be practical and to NOT give many options for buyers because that which is practical may cost you off the ass. Of course it is the nature of the system we have accepted and allowed as ourselves.
In an Equal Money System we as humanity will make sure that everyone has the money to afford that which they like as a design, and be sure that every product is practical to the user.
