Kids Magnet...

Today I went to my mom's for dinner. There were many people invited, eating and sitting outside chit chatting. When i walked in I said "hi" to everyone, sat down, had some food. I noticed there were two girls (children from one of the families that were there). The little one must have been around 4 years and the older one around 7 or 8. They were playing "tag" before I got there. As soon as I looked the 4 year old one, she smiled and came to me. At first shy, looking at me, checking out my clothes and head band, earrings. She was talking to me but I could not clearly understand her language yet. She made it clear that she wanted to play. The older sister began running around me saying "catch me.." So I began to chase her and all of the sudden it became a game between the three of us. I had no intentions of talking to anyone there because there was nothing for me to say to anyone. So I engaged in the play with the two girls and had a blast.
Later we played the "hot and cold" game where you hid an object and the other person has to find it. We used a flower.
When they had to go (they were leaving to go home), the little one did not want to leave. She sat down on the grown by me (I was kneeling down) and would not move because she still wanted to play. Her mom said she had never done this before with other people. So I had to pick her up and put her in the car because when her  mom tried she was about to cry. I told her we would play another time, hugged her and put her in the car seat.

Interesting experience.
